Owned by the family that has one of largest productions of Gavi wine (one of the most notable white wines from the region) in Piemonte, this lovely country hotel has quickly become a JDB favorite in Piemonte. The family is gracious and the setting is peaceful, surrounded by acre upon acre of vineyards. Guests can enjoy a tour of the cantina. (BMW once took over the property and introduced that year's newest model in the cantina.) The property has been the venue for weddings, parties and receptions for as few as ten up to several hundred persons. The hotel's restaurant La Gallina is fantastic. Don't miss a meal there! You are sure to return! Rooms - including bi-level suites - are comfortably furnished in country decor, and there are accommodations perfect for families. There is a small gym and sauna on the property as well as bicycles for rent for the pleasure of hotel guests. Massage can be arranged. In addition to many castles and vineyards to explore in the area, the huge Seravalle designer outlet mall with some 220 stores is less than 10 minutes from the property. JDB also has a special package here which includes a visit to a family-owned jewelry factory in Vallenza where most of the best Italian jewelry is made.
