One of the most well-known hotels in Rome, the Hotel D'Inghilterra has been undergoing a major refurbishment of all its rooms and facilities. Rooms are being combined to allow for more spacious accommodations, and JDB clients are always assigned the best and newest ones. The top floor is home to many beautiful suite-type accommodations including the Penthouse Suite with an enormous rooftop terrace which would be perfect for a wedding reception, cocktail party, or family reunion. The Suite connects to a double room. The first floor of the hotel has several inviting sitting rooms, a cozy bar and the hotel's Cafe Romano Restaurant which offers an excellent contemporary menu and is popular with local residents as well as hotel guests. During warm weather months, outside dining is available. A meal here is a must! Reservations for dinner are recommended. Just steps from the entrance to the hotel are Via Condotti and Via Borgognona with all of the most distinguished Italian designer boutiques plus myriad trattorias serving typical Roman cuisine. The Spanish Steps are just two blocks away. It is a location bustling with activity day and evening. As it is a pedestrian area, taxis are the most convenient way for guests to go directly to the hotel. There is a special member of the hotel staff devoted specifically to handling JDB reservations and room assignments, as they are so numerous at the D'Inghilterra.

NOTE TO THOSE DRIVING: As the Hotel is situated in the historic centre of Rome, which is closed to unauthorized traffic, it is a good idea to have your hotel confirmation handy. If a policeman stops you, show him the confirmation and he will let you pass. The Hotel's concierge can arrange car parking at a nearby garage for a nightly fee.
