After an $11 million investment and a two and one half year makeover, a glamorous new Hotel Balzac is a true gem with five-star manager, Alexandre Scarvelis, who is an important member of the JDB family. The 19th century building with a colourful history is named after the famous writer, Honore de Balzac, for which the hotel and the street in which it is located are named. The building at one time was the residence of the director of the Paris Opera.
