Hotel Le Fontanelle

Just opened in July 2006, this hotel has one of the most spectacular views in Tuscany. From the terrace, there is a 360 degree view of the valley below and it is truly breathtaking. This property began as a 13th century watchtower and recently underwent a six-year renovation. The property belonged to a convent from the 17th - 19th centuries but was closed by Napoleon in the 19th century.

The décor is wonderful - warm, country-like feeling and very tastefully done. Public rooms include several lounges, a bar and card room with television, a restaurant, and a terrace with the most amazing view of the Tuscan countryside imaginable. The only thing you don't have is sea view!!

There are 25 rooms in five categories from classic double to suites. Two of the suites, each with one bedroom, are separate from the main house. Another is by the piazzetta. And one is a double with living room connecting to a single by the pool. Rooms have flat screen TV's, slippers, robes, hair dryers. Prestige superior rooms have either garden or terrace.

There are two pools, one indoor and one outdoor and the second has that same killer view. There is also a sauna, a small, well-equipped gym and they are creating space for facials and body treatments. It is a great property and will surely be a big success.
