Driving time is approximately 2 hours from Rome and 2-1/2 hours from Florence. From Rome FCO airport, take A12 north (direction Civitavecchia), then take E80 "Aurelia" and continue in direction of Orbetello at which point you will pick up signs to Porto Ercole.
