Located in South Kensington near Chelsea, the Cranley is comprised of two 19th century townhouses and features high ceilings and beautiful moldings. There are 39 accommodations including 11 suites and one penthouse suite. This hotel is owned by the same owner as the Royal Park so the hotels are similar in décor. And like the Royal Park, the hotel is very well maintained.
Room 407 has a view over the rooftops from a small terrace with table and chairs (perfect for breakfast), a separate sitting room and walk-in closet. Guests can also choose to have breakfast in the reception area which is considerably smaller than the space at the Royal Park.
For families, Rooms 207 and 208 can be closed off from the hall to combine a standard double with a four poster suite. 24-hour room service is available. The hotel serves complimentary afternoon tea and scones from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m. and complimentary champagne and canapés from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
