Once an old borgo, this property has been carefully restored and the décor is simple yet sophisticated so as not to take away from the natural beauty of the hotel's surroundings. There are 20 accommodations, each of which has a large king size bed and wonderful plush linens. Suites are large and range from 60 to 93 square meters. There are also connecting rooms and one Junior Suite. Grounds include a wine boutique where guests can taste and purchase wines and oil produced on the owner's estate, a fountain, a fashionable bar with large windows that open onto enchanting countryside views, and best of all a stellar restaurant called Il Fiore del Tesoro that serves delicious Tuscan cuisine with a creative flair. Guests seem to really enjoy evenings at this hotel - cocktails at the bar after dinner that also has outside seating are popular and being in the unpopulated countryside allows for clear starry skies.
