New York City Area Sales Representative
Responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities in New York City and surrounding counties on behalf of JDB.
GOAL
Enhance and strengthen travel agent relationships and increase sales in the New York City area.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Promote the JDB collection of 200+ deluxe hotel and ground service providers to the area travel community through direct sales calls, industry events, special seminars and other media.
- Establish and execute strategies to grow and maintain existing travel accounts (leisure agencies, as well as corporate and/or meeting/incentive accounts) while expanding the travel agency base in the marketing area.
- Plan and conduct familiarization or press trips to JDB destinations periodically as requested, and strengthen and enhance hotelier and agent relationships.
- Communicate and promote JDB's itinerary planning and commission payment services; service particular agent requests when necessary.
This is a contract engagement; compensation based on experience, drive, and achieved performance metrics.
