For a wine enthusiast, an itinerary with private visits to the important vineyards of the area could be created, including private wine tastings. For the luxury traveler, private access to specific museums, private appointments with leading jewelers, and even lunch in a private palace can be arranged. For those with a passion for experiencing the local culture, an itinerary that might include visiting a private farm, exploring medieval villages, touring significant historical sites, sampling the local cuisine, or exploring the local markets would be ideal. Even clients with an interest in antiques can be accommodated. A JDB Custom Itinerary can be a fully planned trip that includes all activities, from the time of arrival in the country to the airport departure transfer. Or, it can be a fully planned segment that covers a few days of the client's overall trip. PLANNING FEE In order to initiate the planning process, a $150 Planning Fee is charged to the client's Visa or MasterCard. The fee is non-refundable, but is credited to the final payment. PAYMENT Full payment, minus the $150 Planning Fee, is charged to the client's Visa or MasterCard 30 days prior to travel. LATE CHANGE FEE A late change fee will be applied if the dates or itinerary are changed at the request of the client less than 14 days prior to departure. The fee will be 10% of the total cost, plus any cancellation charges imposed by vendors. CANCELLATION POLICY The following cancellation policy applies once a service has been confirmed. More than 30 days prior to travel: 10% of the total cost of the tour or transfer, plus any cancellation charges imposed by vendors. 15 - 30 days prior to travel: - 25% penalty 14 - 8 days prior to travel: - 50% penalty Within 7 days: - 100% penalty
