Visit the real Andalucia, a land of contrasts internationally famous for its sherry and brandy, its dancing horses, its excellent gastronomy, its Moorish architecture, its stunning white villages and as the birthplace of Flamenco music and dance. Tour Jerez and the surrounding area, visiting wine estates, taking a pleasure cruise to Cadiz, touring the stunning Alcazar, learning the traditional method of olive oil production, walking through famous white villages, dining on superb local cuisine. Enjoy an authentic Flamenco show of dancing and music, and see the incredible dancing Andalusian horses. Taste the three types of wine produced in the area: Fino, Sherry and Brandy, and admire the staggering views in Sierra de Grazalema National Park.


Day 1, October 29:

5:00 - 6:15 p.m. Pickup at either Jerez or Seville airport. Check in to Jandalos, a 4 star hotel in Jerez. Your duplex suite is located in the adjacent former winery.

Day 2, October 30:

8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Guided tour of the Alcazar in Jerez, one of the oldest and most important monuments of the Arab legacy. Visit the gardens, the Tower with stunning views of the city, Arab baths and the Darkroom featuring early movies of Jerez.

12:00 - 2:00 p.m. View a spectacular equestrian show only available in Andalucia. This amazing horse ballet is accompanied by Spanish music and features 18th century costumes.

2:30 - 4:00 p.m. Enjoy a gourmet lunch in one of Jerez's most typical restaurants, featuring Andalusian cuisine.

4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Private visit to a top wine estate in Jerez. Included is a vineyard walk and wine tasting.

Day 3, October 31:

8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Guided tour of one of the most prestigious and oldest wine estates in the sherry region, with an impressive range of sherries including old, rare ones. Tour the bodega to learn about the production and maturation of sherry, as well as the soleras and press houses. Enjoy a tasting of the various types of sherries.

1:30 - 2:00 p.m. Travel by boat to Cadiz, Europe's oldest continuously inhabited city, surrounded by the sea.

2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Enjoy a gourmet lunch at a renowned catering school, where many Michelin starred chefs started their careers.

4:30 - 6:00 p.m. Take a guided walking tour of the old quarter of Cadiz, a city famous for its sandy beaches, Roman and Arab architectural treasures, and excellent gastronomy found in its numerous tapas bars.

6:30 p.m. Return to the hotel.

Day 4, November 1:

8:00 - 8:45 a.m. Buffet breakfast at the hotel.

9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Trip to Sierra De Grazalema National Park, designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It is famous for its spectacularly rugged limestone landscape of cliffs, gullies, caves and gorges.

10:15 - 11:00 a.m. Visit a traditional olive mill to learn how one of the best olive oils is produced, with a tasting of extra virgin olive oil and tapas.

11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Walk through the white villages that dot the park, and enjoy the stunning views.

1:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Enjoy a gourmet lunch of exquisite local food accompanied by superb wines at the best restaurant in the charming white village of Arcos de la Frontera.

4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Take a guided tour of Arcos de la Frontera, an amazing town situated on cliffs high above a river. Walking the narrow cobblestone streets that lead to a castle is an unforgettable adventure.

6:30 - 9:00 p.m. Free time to relax

9:30 - 11:45 p.m. See what has been called the best authentic Flamenco show in Spain, and possibly in the world! The show takes place in an old Jerez mansion, and dinner is included.


Day 5, November 2:

9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Buffet breakfast followed by check out and transfer to the airport.
