Most vehicles used for tours or transfers are Mercedes E-class, V-class & 16 seat minibuses. However, JDB Ground retains the right to substitute a different vehicle type if necessary. Tour itineraries are subject to change due to site closings, inclement weather, strikes or other unforeseen circumstances. JDB Ground reserves the right to substitute a venue or site during a tour in the event the scheduled site is not available. In rare instances it may be necessary to reschedule the starting time of the tour; in such situations, clients will be notified in advance. Entrance fees to museums and exhibits are not included in the rate unless indicated, nor are gratuities for drivers and guides. Unless otherwise indicated in the tour description, tours begin at either 9:00 a.m. or 2:00 p.m. and are available daily. Preference for either morning or afternoon tour must be indicated at the time of booking. The guide will meet clients at their hotel, unless another meeting point is designated in the itinerary. Clients staying in private apartments will be advised of the meeting point in their tour confirmation. Rates are subject to change. A Taste of Liguria 8 Hours Meet your expert guide and driver in the lobby of your hotel at 9:00 a.m. for this relaxed excursion to explore the magnificent Ligurian Coast. First stop is Santa Margherita where you will have a walking tour of the historical center and visit the baroque Church of Santa Margherita d'Antiochia. Then stroll the streets, stopping for a taste of the famous "focaccia" flavored with olives, onions or herbs. Continue to Portofino, known as the most exclusive resort harbor in Italy, for a look at the colorful houses that line the bay. Then proceed by ferry to the Abbey of San Fruttuoso, built in the 11th century and immersed among pine and olive trees. The last stop of the day is Camogli, a quaint fishermans village with pebble beach and pastel-colored houses and stroll the narrow streets before returning to your hotel with your driver.
