This newest addition to JDB's hotels in Florence has major "wow" factor. Opened in 2005, the hotel has been created in a palazzo dating to the early 1700s, on the ground floor of which is the world famous Michelin starred (3 stars) restaurant, Enoteca Pinchiorri. However, the restaurant does not provide room service for the hotel as it has its own fine restaurant. A light menu is also available in the bar throughout the day. Among the 24 accommodations are two Royal Suites of 200 sq. meters each, one of which has two living rooms. Butler service is available in the Royal Suites for a fee. There are four additional suites and three junior suites as well as rooms. The main drawing room of the palazzo, La Salla della Musica, is a huge room (gives new meaning to the expression "volume ceilings"!) with fully restored original frescoes and decorations. And the Santa Croce location is excellent for visiting the historic center of Florence.
