Set in a charming 19th century elegantly renovated building, Hotel Adler is an outstanding property in terms of location, decor and management. Located at the crossroads of two of Madrid's most distinguished thoroughfares, Velazquez and Goya, the hotel is a short walk from the Golden Triangle of Art (The Prado museum, The Reina Sofia Centre and The Thyssen.Bornemisza Collection) and the elegant shops on Calle de Serrano.

The reception area is spacious and the use of a smashing floral arrangement instantly draws attention upon entrance to the hotel. All 45 accommodations are large, especially junior suites, and are decorated with attractive sharp colors and contemporary furnishings. An impressive collection of modern art by renown Spanish artists such as Chillida and Manolo Valds is displayed throughout the hotel. Room 101, a deluxe double with a bathroom off the foyer, was so large that we thought it must be part of a suite! It had everything including a spacious shower with double shower heads for the romantically inclined and a wonderful claw foot bathtub. The hotel's charming restaurant, with only eleven tables, is a perfect choice for hotel guests wishing to "stay at home" for dinner. The intimate size and excellent customer service offered at this hotel makes it great oasis in a very thriving area.
