CENTRAL IRELAND
Stretching from Dublin to the West Coast, Ireland's central area is diverse in its scenery and sophistication. Dublin City is a hive of urban style, with a vibrant nightlife, a rich cultural heritage, and wonderful dining and shopping. Its many outstanding museums give a glimpse into ancient civilizations, and the Georgian architecture of Merrion Square is a must see. As one moves west, the scenery is punctuated by mountains, castles and stone walls, clear lakes, banks of turf, flowing rivers, pretty villages and traditional pubs. Wild and wonderful, the West Coast is known for its craggy landscapes, untouched beaches and excellent festivals.

SOUTHERN IRELAND
With spectacular scenery ranging from rural mountains, farmlands and lush green river valleys to picturesque seaside villages, towering cliffs and long stretches of untouched beaches, the southern area of Ireland is a mecca for visitors. There are numerous ramparts, castles, and abbeys to explore, interspersed with nature preserves, lush gardens and world class golf courses. The city of Limerick, on the River Shannon, was originally a Viking city. The plains of Tipperary, rich in archaeological sites, are the birthplace for some of the world's most valued livestock. The Cork Kerry Region, with its long indented coastline, blends with spectacular mountains, rivers and lakes, offering an abundance of fishing venues and hiking trails.
