Spain   Map

Bordered by France in the north and Portugal on the west, Spain is the second largest country in Western Europe and boasts an impressive mix of cosmopolitan cities renown for innovative art movements and extravagant nightlight. Mediterranean whitewashed hill towns, snow-tipped mountain peaks, green wetlands and forests, deep river valleys and bountiful vineyards grace the landscape. Spain's cultural mix is reflected in the country's historical sites - prehistoric cave paintings in Cantabria, medieval castles once owned by Catholic kings in the central "meseta" or high plateau, ornate Moorish palaces in Andalusia, Roman ruins such as Segovia's Aqueduct, and Jewish influences like Toledo's Synagogue.

NORTHERN SPAIN
With coasts along the Atlantic Ocean, Cantabrian Sea and Mediterranean Sea, the northern regions of Spain are incredibly diverse and have centuries-old cultures that speak Galician, Catalan, and Basque. Green picturesque landscapes, fishing villages, cosmopolitan cities, magnificent mountain ranges, and dramatic coastlines will surely surprise and enchant visitors.
